Finance Technical Project Manager (MPP1)

Position Overview:
The Finance Technical Project Manager will be part of the Goals & Reporting Team within the Operational Finance organization at SCE. The successful candidate will design and develop new financial reporting tools, solutions, and processes impacting corporate and organizational unit (OU) financial reporting, operational activities, and management decision making. Other responsibilities include developing and improving related business processes, advising clients on technical strategies to address issues, and advancing existing reporting processes.
Typical Responsibilities:
Leads and supports the development of long term strategy and plan for corporate financial reporting tools, systems, data, and related business processes, including:
Data modeling of large amounts of corporate, OU, and project financial and cost information
Deployment of user-friendly self-service reporting tools
Leads and supports requirements definition, design, and implementation of automated reporting solutions that have significant financial or operational impact to the company and/or individual business units.
Maximizes the use of technology (SAP, Analysis for Excel, BEx, BOBJ, Design Studio, SAP Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC), Lumira, SAS, VBA, MS Office, SharePoint, Utilities International Planner, and emerging technologies) to implement and visualize solutions for various business financial processes.
Manages components of cross-organizational business processes by leading development of improved tools and databases, communicating to OU stakeholders, and integrating with existing OU and Finance business processes.
Tracks, reviews, and prioritizes portfolio of new and existing financial reporting requests.
Participates in efforts to standardize, simplify, and govern how financial information is organized and stored in SAP to facilitate management reporting and operational decision making.
Leads, participates and contributes to cross-functional development teams to address and support strategic and financial issue resolution and decision making.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
