Under supervision and following established policies and department procedures operate various fund transfers and communication and computer systems as described in Essential Functions.
Operate Payplus-Finastra wire application, E-mail and FAX server applications to receive, validate, record and process outgoing wire transfers directly from customers.
Perform wire security functions thru call back procedures, and review of customer executed agreements in support of the service. Direct customer contact for receiving wire transfer requests. Perform calls to customer to validate wires in a timely, professional and courteous manner.
Input outgoing wires on Payplus systems with the highest degree of accuracy.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding their wire transfer requests. Assist with wire investigations.
Insure all security protocols for wire verification are documented along with input of tracking log of wires received and processed from fax and/or email submissions. Insure all submitted requests have been processed according to the departments deadlines for wire transfers.
Ensure accurate maintenance of daily production logs.
Assist with filing.
Perform daily account reconciliation activities.
Perform End-of-Day balancing.
Provide wire confirmation copies to Branches and Departments on a timely basis.
Update or create customers' profile on Payplus
Input wire on Fedline Advantage as needed.
Minimum qualifications/requirements:
Education: High School graduate. Some college helpful but not mandatory.
Experience: Previous Call Center or banking experience preferred with wire transfer processing experience a plus.
Skills/Ability: PC proficient including Excel and Word, type minimum 50+ wpm, and ten-key by touch. Good math skills. Detail oriented with high emphasis on accuracy. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and bank employees. Bilingual English/Mandarin and/or Cantonese preferred. Ability to work in a team environment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
