Senior Manager, Labor Relations (HR Snr. Manager)

Position Overview:
This position will be a Senior Manager of Labor Relations within the Human Resources, Labor Relations Organization at Southern California Edison. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership direction and management of the labor relations team, partnering with Operating Unit leaders and managers to develop and implement labor strategy, lead/participate in interim negotiations between Operating Units and Union leadership, oversee investigations and provide corrective action recommendations, interface with the union to resolve contractual issues and partner as required with Employee Relations and other Human Resources in issues requiring cross-functional involvement.
Responsibilities to include:
Provides leadership direction and management of the labor relations team. To include items such as: performance management, mentoring, training and development, personnel selection, salary recommendations and corrective action.
Ensures oversight of the preservation and consistent application of the Collective Bargaining Agreement
Participation and occasional leading of the development and implementation of strategic and tactical approaches for the Company's overall Labor Relations Strategic Plan to include bargaining strategies
Provides thought leadership and labor relations guidance to executive management to generate support for the strategic direction
Works to identify potential/actual problem areas in the Company's labor relations practices
Participates in large-scale contract negotiations for the Company
Leads interim negotiations between the Operating Unit leaders and Union leadership.
Plans and directs the resolution of various contractual issues with the unions
Maintains positive and productive relations with unions
Facilitates discussion with union leadership, executive management, manager and front line leaders
Interfaces with Union leadership to provide guidance and direction on grievance/arbitration resolutions, contract interpretations and implementation, and corrective action issues
Prepares for arbitrations and represents the organization in arbitrations
Manages various projects related to labor agreements
Determines best practices in labor relations and facilitates consistency efforts between departments when appropriate
Partners with internal organizations as appropriate to develop and implement strategies and tactics to resolve issues between the Company and Unions

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
