Position Overview:
The Principal Project Manager is accountable to lead the Program Management Office (PMO) for the delivery of electric industry leading information technology (IT) solutions that meet critical business needs. This position will plan and manage work within a mutli-hundred million dollar technology program to ensure the successful delivery of solutions that will enable SCE to provide clean energy for the future. This role collaborates with senior operating unit leadership and managers to understand the business needs and translate them into technology capabilities that can be fulfilled by internal resources or managed services providers.
The Principal Project Manager maintains the strategic view of business and technology outcomes and how individual projects deliver those outcomes. The role facilitates the delivery of technology solutions to clients to ensure service level agreements (SLA) and key performance indicators (KPI) defined by all parties are met or exceeded. It facilitates the planning, integration and execution of core project and program management elements, including business integration, project scope, time and cost management, procurement, risk assessment, quality control and change management. It ensures all projects are supported by an integrated business architectural framework and coordinates projects involving multiple disciplines which cross organizational units.
This role oversees and focuses on developing, maintaining, and performing: Program Office metrics and reporting for a large IT Program comprised of multiple workstreams, IT solution management, financial management, Program risk management, and change control processes. This is a full time, project regular position for an estimated during of 36 months.
Typical Responsibilities:
Oversees and facilitates the funding and creation of project plans specifying charter, scope, approach, management plans, work breakdown structure (WBS), cost estimates, schedule, performance management baselines, milestones and target dates, risk management and change control plans.
Manages programs and project status, resources allocations, and financials and reporting on such information to team and senior leaders.
Responsible for defining project controls, oversight and standards and enforcing adherence to these standards by reviewing project status and deliverables. Includes leadership on project financial management to assure up to date financial project reporting is maintained. Responsible for ensuring all appropriate program and project procedures are followed, artifacts are created in alignment with standards, and lessons learned are collected and shared across the IT organization.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
