Finance Project Manager (Advisor)

Position Overview:
TheFinance Project Manager will be part of the Operational Finance group withinthe Finance organization at SCE. The successful candidate's initial assignment willbe to work closely with our Operating Units and act as a financial andstrategic advisor by facilitating and leading the design and requirementsdefinitions for an integrated reporting and planning platform to enable SCE toenhance its planning and reporting processes, improve data analysis, and tohelp create SCE's "single source of truth" and Finance's technology futureroadmap.
TypicalResponsibilities:
Appliesexpertise in corporate finance, financial analysis, and critical thinking toidentify and clearly communicate the resolution of unusually complexissues. Issues typically requireinnovative solutions.
Leads,contributes and supports the translation of 5-year operating plans to operatingbudgets used for multiple financial planning purposes including the General RateCase.
Leadssupport for the evaluation, development, and implementation of multipleprojects or business cases that have moderate financial or operational impactto the business unit or Company.
Participatesand contributes to cross-functional development teams to address strategicissues.
Keycontributes to the development of strategic plans and objectives for theorganization.
Actsas a key consultant to senior management.
Testsall fiscal and budget assumptions used by the Operating Units in developingoperating plans, including assumptions used in prioritization of work andassumptions in the "risk-informed" planning approach prepared by the Operating Unit.
Developsoperating budget and General Rate Case forecasts by estimating costs andbenefits of operating plans during annual budget development cycle and General RateCase cycle, respectively.
Maintainsa safety conscious work environment by following Edison safety protocols andsafe work practices.
Performingother responsibilities and duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree.
Seven years of experience in the field of financial or strategic planningand analysis or similar.
Two years of experience managing projects including project development,implementation, reporting, schedules, and risk management.
Desired Qualifications:
Master'sDegree
ProjectManagement Certificate
Experienceparticipating in a General Rate Case
StrongExperience using SAP
SCEOU planning experience
Experiencedeveloping and implementing client engagement initiatives and strategicbusiness plans across business lines.
Demonstratedexperience developing financial models and utilizing modeling tools.
Experienceleading cross-functional teams or acting as team lead.
Experienceanalyzing information and/or data, developing recommendations and solutions,and effectively communicating recommendations to management.
Experiencefacilitating meetings and presenting to a variety of audiences and levelsacross the organization including; Supervisors, Managers, Directors and VicePresidents.
Experienceusing Microsoft Office Products such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strongexperience using Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) tools such as SAP orOracle.
Demonstratedability to create and maintain a safety conscious work environment.
Mustdemonstrate the ability to integrate work across relevant areas, develop thebusiness and services to enhance customer satisfaction and productivity, managerisks appropriately, develop and execute business plans, manage information,and provide exceptional service to internal and external customers.
Mustdemonstrate effective resource and project planning, decision making, resultsdelivery, team building, and the ability to stay current with relevanttechnology and innovation.
Mustdemonstrate strong ethics, influence and negotiation, leadership, interpersonalskills, communication, and the ability to effectively manage stress and engagein continuous learning.

The primary worklocation for this position is Rosemead, CA
Candidates for thisposition must be legally authorized to work directly as employees for anyemployer in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Relocation may be available forqualified candidates.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
