Senior Advisor - Performance Management

Position Overview:
The Performance Management Senior Advisor will lead the design and implementation of efforts to set and monitor corporate metrics and targets, analyze key drivers of success, guide efforts to estimate and evaluate metrics impacts from improvement opportunities/efforts and work with operating units to create and execute performance improvement plans.
You will work with Operating Unit (OU) performance management teams to guide development and implementation of a more consistent and repeatable approach to performance management that provides an integrated view across operating units. The approach focuses on using data and analytics, quickly identifying shortfalls, and establishing and prioritizing remediation options.
Typical Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain an enterprise approach to describing, evaluating and reporting on performance
Lead design and buildout of metric trees that decompose company objectives into key component drivers and guide collaborative efforts that draw from Operational and OU performance management expertise and insights from data analysis of metric drivers to define key drivers of metrics performance and a set of operational metrics that inform metrics performance
Lead collaborative efforts with OUs to determine core metrics to be tracked, associated subset of interconnected metrics and necessary data and analytics to describe impacts of one metric on another
Lead collaborative engagement with OU performance management teams to tie operational performance to company outcomes
Provide direction to and drive interactions with OU performance management organizations to ensure tracking and reporting on metrics and build out capabilities to conduct root cause analysis, and identify and prioritize corrective actions
Develop reports for senior management and Board on operational performance
Establish mechanisms to decide which activities to pursue and which to defer based on impact on goals and metrics and considering trade-offs between objectives
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors (quantitative field, i.e., Business, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics or equivalent degree program)
Seven years in operational expertise and/or project management
Seven years of experience leading a cross-functional team
Ten years of experience interpreting analytical results and using results to facilitate decisions
Experience managing and/or leading company performance improvement projects in attainment of company goals for a department, OU, or company-wide
Desired Qualifications:
Masters (quantitative field, i.e., statistics, mathematics, economics, etc.)
Experience with companywide initiatives influencing implementation of objectives, processes, and projects
Ability to drive and implement change in a change-resistant environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to coordinate and lead meetings
Strong logical thinking and quick learning abilities
Experience developing and delivering presentations for senior officers
Knowledge and/or experience with industry wide methods to manage utility performance
Experience conducting performance analysis using data analytics software (e.g. Statistical Analysis Systems (SAS))
Experience analyzing data to determine operational performance and determining corrective actions to address gaps
Familiarity with various technical programs, ranging from visual dashboards to statistical programs.

Candidates for this position must be legally authorized to work directly as employees for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship.
The primary work location for this position is Rosemead CA with occasional visits to local SCE offices as needed

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
