Position Overview
Thesuccessful candidate for this position will report to the Senior Manager ofCybersecurity Engineering. The Cybersecurity Engineering Manager willmanage the team that deploys and supports the Cybersecurity technologies forThreat Detection, Incident Response, Forensics and Cyber Threat Analysis toensure security of SCE Corporate IT and Grid related systems. The manager willoversee workflow, Cybersecurity related capital projects, departmental issues,allocating financial/employee resources and daily transitions. The manager willalso develop short/mid-term business plans and objectives, providerecommendations to specific work activities, and maintain contact with seniorand peer level management.
Typical responsibilities include:
Provide direction for work to be performed and desired results, selecting staff and managing employee performance and development by conducting performance planning and reviews, coaching employees, and carrying out disciplinary action when necessary, and performing other duties as assigned.
Develop short- and mid-term business plans and objectives for the organization and contributes to the development of departmental business plans and corporate objectives.
Lead information security projects and programs to reduce IT security risks across the organization.
Direct metrics collection, reporting and trending asscheduled to management as well as supporting audits, and consultationservices.
Minimum Requirements:
Five years of combined experience in supervising/managing/performing the following: Cybersecurity, Risk Management, Incident Response, Threat Analysis and/or development, maintenance, and implementation of enterprise cybersecurity policies, standards and technologies.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in computer science, engineering or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Certified Information System Manager (CISM).
Demonstrated experience in managing, supervising, or leading a diverse workforce, staff, or team.
Demonstrated experience identifying, documenting, and assessing risks, controls, and cybersecurity requirements.
Demonstrated the ability to build and maintain strong relationships and work well with others in both small group and cross-functional group environments.
Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills, and be customer focused to understand and appropriately respond to clients' business needs.
Demonstrated experience with Lotus Notes or SharePoint, MS Project, MS Visio, MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Ability to follow Edison safety protocols and safe work practices.
Demonstrated the ability to integrate work across relevant areas, develop the business and services to enhance customer satisfaction and productivity, manage risks appropriately, manage information, and provide exceptional service to internal and external customers.
Demonstrated effective, decision making, results delivery, team building, and the ability to stay current with relevant technology and innovation.
Demonstrated strong ethics, interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively manage stress and engage in continuous learning.
Candidatesfor this position must be legally authorized to work directly as employees forany employer in the United States without visa sponsorship.
US Citizenship required as part ofCritical Infrastructure security protocols.
NERC/CIP - This position has beenidentified as a NERC/CIP impacted position - Prior to being hired, thesuccessful candidate must pass a Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA) or BackgroundInvestigation. Once hired, the candidate must complete specified trainingprior to gaining un-escorted access to assigned work location and performingnecessary job duties.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
